In a manner of speaking, yes we do: Our 100,000 litre pool was turned into a koi pond some years back. We have around fifty fish!

That i would love too but I know so little of Koi, Is it not a rather expensive hobby? We never use the pool anymore anyway but when I started to look into it i found that you have to basically rebuild the pool

Most of our fish were bought as babies.
We removed the water to get rid of the chlorine, refilled, put in some water plants, (some on the steps and lillies in the shallow end) then waited a short while for the pond to mature. We added a bio filter and a venturi to increase oxygen. Then we transferred the fish to their new home.
The fish are mostly fully grown and are around 10 years old. AND we still swim occasionally. It is wonderful.
Plus the bonus of all the wildlife the water feature attracts.

Since moving this month i havent had time to look as this place is so big.there are a lot of pine trees that have been cut down and the branches left which give some very good shots. That will have to wait until we are unpacked.:-))
