Haha we live in one of the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg and there is one across the river, he does not wake me but if I am awake I can hear him at about 5 a m

I was so disappointed many years ago when I found that chickens don’t crow just at dawn, they crow any time they like, including where I was sleeping. 🙂
