But it beats outdated encyclopedias which we used as kids.
Jul 23, 2014 @ 10:36:58
That’s for sure. I can find out anything I need to, and sound really clued up on any subject. 😉

Taking into consideration that we have all this information it is shocking to find how much obtuseness there is still out there!
Jul 23, 2014 @ 08:25:35
ha ha ha
Jul 23, 2014 @ 13:51:18
Been eavesdropping at my spot have you? 😉
Jul 23, 2014 @ 14:03:56
Well……. Hm….you know how it is😊
Jul 23, 2014 @ 14:18:42
Oh, yes, indeed!
They don’t have videos on How To Clean You Laptop in my Encyclopaedia Brit. for one thing.
In fact, my lad was sending emails this morning when he asked what does a.m. stand for?
I know what p.m . means but, oddly enough, I didn’t know what am. stood for.
JFGI as they say! So he did….
And now I know.

Ek bly doodstil – het juis ‘n lekkende toilet!
Jul 23, 2014 @ 17:35:34
Ek kry veel inligting by die universiteit van Google 😊

Hier op die Landgoed het ons ‘n Mnr Google Pienaar wat vir alles moet sorg!

I would have sworn by Google until today when I tried to find a 2013 beetle fuse box diagram. I got NOTHING!
But still, I love to Google-know. 😉
Jul 24, 2014 @ 05:18:48
Oh dear! Won’t your dealer part with one? But yes Google does not always cooperate 🙂
Jul 25, 2014 @ 01:25:02
The dealer was closed so I called this a.m. And he told me what I needed but could not give me a diagram. Really? Dope 😀

In the days of paper books we could buy a manual from Motor Books but they too disappeared. . And now cars have become so involved you need a sketch to know where to put in petrol. I think they want you to pay for what you want done
Jul 24, 2014 @ 09:00:10
weet jy hoe slim is dokter Google!
Jul 24, 2014 @ 09:04:33
Ja en ek is ‘n fan van hom 🙂
Jul 24, 2014 @ 09:14:39
I like Google but you still can’t believe everything you read. LOL! I think George ‘Google-knows’.
Jul 24, 2014 @ 09:48:00
Yes lol George googles!
No some information is not correct so if it is important check against other (Google) sources too
Jul 24, 2014 @ 10:17:46
I find it quite strange now as all my Grand kids seem to think that everything true comes from Google, what happened to good old fashioned books? 🙂
Jul 24, 2014 @ 11:07:36
The problem is that reference books get outdated easily but of course you cannot Google everything. Mostly superficial information but enough to provide some knowledge! Unfortunately things that kids google for a school project get printed without reading.
Jul 24, 2014 @ 14:08:29
Google het ons almal slim gemaak
Jul 24, 2014 @ 14:26:59
Net die idee dat mense kennis soek is reeds uitstekend.
Jul 28, 2014 @ 08:57:59
And not only Google, but YouTube. If you want a demonstration on how to clean your carpet, make almond milk, use styles in Word, publish an e-book, sharpen your chisels, use a lathe, make a wind turbine or break into an artichoke – it’s all there 🙂
Jul 28, 2014 @ 11:33:47
Oh yes of course. But sometimes our internet is so slow I cannot open YouTube.
