I know somebody who at the age of 70 plus has suddenly been diagnosed as being gluten sensitive! What?
Gluten free products do not come cheap plus the homeopath (who by the way did not send her for tests but diagnosed from symptoms) has prescribed natural medicine at a small fortune. Does it help? Well, sort of, she thinks. But people will believe what they want to believe.
I suppose there is no point in sending this to her?

Maak so!

Kosstudies is een van die ergste vorms van pseudo science. Soos wat jy in die Bybel enige regverdiging vir gedrag kan vind, kan jy studies vind wat enige gevolgtrekking oor kos maak.
Koffie is goed/sleg
Koolhidrate is goed/sleg
Rooiwyn is goed/sleg
Plantolies is goed/sleg
Botter is goed/sleg
Bietjie soos global warming: Die poolys smelt! Global Warming!
Meer Poolys: Global Warming.
Vloede: Global Warming.
Droogtes: Global Warming.

I was going to comment last night but it was late and I was dog tired.
This is why I love your posts!
The mind is a powerful tool – for good or bad – ‘Please, Darth, stop looking at me that way ‘
And serendipity or kismet strikes again.
We were discussing the gluten intolerance thing at lunch yesterday.
And I am especially pleased to read the MSG thing in the same link.
I shall be forwarding this to other family members, who will find it very interesting.

I do not deny that there are people with allergies to certain foods but it is now becoming a fad to be something sensitive and the more you pay the more it reinforces the placebo. Thanks for liking my blogs Ark!

Stone Gods don’t dish out divine recognition willy-nilly y’know?

The only people who seem to make money out of new foodstuffs are the health shops. I have never had special diets or done without what I enjoyed and have been lucky to have no problems so far, and I`m over 70.

More and more research shows that all these extras are simply a waste of money! Eat sensibly is the only way.

It’s good business. Just have a sign at the door, natural products and you are on the way to the dollars

There is a ‘health’ shop in an upmarket shopping center here that will test your aura. How about that?
🙂
Aug 18, 2014 @ 05:05:51
Are the tests for free? I need to know my aura
Aug 18, 2014 @ 05:22:18
I doubt it, only the sun comes up for free and that is debatable too 🙂
Aug 18, 2014 @ 09:09:54
Hahaha!
I should open a clinic for testing auras. Maybe survey what I need for the clinic, we will share the returns 😛 I promise
Aug 18, 2014 @ 16:06:47
I will hold you to that, Can you email an aura because that is something that the psychics could do????
🙂

Just another way to make money. It’s like you say … people will believe what they want to.

What’s more is I have stopped taking vitamin supplements after reading all the research.Do not notice any change except in my purse.
